Are you alone and tired of the situation? Or maybe all is good even alone! In any case, there are always ways to feel better ;-) Here is some advice to feel better even if everything is ok!
In two words:

Take care of yourself. No one is going to do it for you.
- eat well
- sleep well
- quit smoking
- avoid addictions (drugs, alcohol…)
- pray if you want
- read
- listen to music
- exercise
- keep your house clean
- keep your clothes clean
- ironing is blessing: it brings luxury to your life at a minimal cost, iron everything not only clothes, drapes, towels, sockets, underwear, napkins… everything!

Be respectful to others
- Learn to listen: you never know when you will hear something new, it can come from the garbage cleaner or a PHD candidate
- Others can help in moments you least expect and they can inspire you
- Be on time
- Say thank you
- Show some empathy: If others are being aggressive, try to understand what they want, and why they are like this, maybe they are more insecure than you
(Being respectful to others pays and shows that above all you respect yourself)

Look for happiness in little things
- A smile
- A joke
- Un beau regard
- A nice meal
- A hug: what happens if you do not have that? Get a pet into your arms
- A kiss: what happens if you do not have that? Get a pet

Be grateful for what you have
- It brings warmth to your heart
- It frees you from being jealous

If you are alone get a pet
- Better to be with a pet that with someone selfish or stupid

Be gentle but don’t take crap

Have dreams and try to follow them

Plan ahead and take action (adjust if needed)

Don’t wait for others to worship you to feel good

Change what you don’t like and accept or cherish the consequences (you are a grown-up after all)
